I have trusted Performance Specialists since 1979. They are a family owned business who strive to do their best to solve your problems. I recently took my SUV to them because my check engine light kept coming on. They finally found the problem and fixed it.. it was a phantom issue. Their knowledgeable, trustworthy and dedicated to keeping their customer base pleasantly satisfied.

This shop is filled with people that truly care about their work on your vehicle, your safety and your cost. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and observing how he actively checked in on the team and trained and troubleshooted. Honest and caring attitude. Reasonably priced and great all around. Shout out to Ed at the front who was great also!

Diagnostics and starter replacement

I came here a week ago to get my brakes checked out. Once they checked out my car they informed me what was need to be done which I agreed. I got to say I’m relieved my brakes are fixed and look forward to getting my car fixed here. It’s hard to trust an auto shop but I’m happy I can take my car here again

I originally found these guys through a Groupon to get an alignment on my KIA. Their work on the alignment was quick and efficient. They also did a full diagnostic of my car, with pictures, letting me know what I might need to get done in the future. They didn’t charge me anything extra and they didn’t push me to get any services I didn’t need. I appreciated this so much that the next day I brought in my truck to see if they could help me figure out a scraping sound that I had been hearing. Of course, the elusive sound disappeared on the day that I brought the truck in. The guys a Performance Specialties put in so much time and effort to try and re-create the sound. They ultimately found the cause and were able to fix the problem for a VERY RESPONSIBLE PRICE. I live in North Park but I will officially be bringing my cars here for any future automotive needs.

Made an appointment for my Mercedes oil change. They were right on time. No long waiting hours. Professional service. They check other parts that can affect engine performance while doing the oil change. I did alignment too. All in all it was clean, fast and professional service
