The team was super helpful and after doing the 10 point inspection, they gave me info about my car that was super important.

Brought my car in for in for an alignment and what I was told by an outside mechanic that I needed to replace my wheel/hub bearing. Even had bought the bearing online. The guys at Performance Specialties quickly spotted the problem which turned out to only be a slightly banged up rim, a cupping on the tire, and wheel alignment that was needed. A lot of other places would have most likely charged me to put the wheel bearing on. They did great work there and car is running smooth again. Thanks guys. 👍

Did the break flush fine but told my valve cover gasket was leaking & gave me a high price to fix. Went to Firestone for a inspection & told me the valve cover was fine. Seems to me like they tried to find a reason to have me pay for something I did not need.

Thank you for bringing your Honda in for repair. Every vehicle that comes in is provided a digital inspection that the customer receives. You can clearly see in the picture's taken that the valve cover is leaking. We perform this inspection on all the vehicles, so the customer knows the condition of their vehicle. You ultimately have to decide if you want to continue to drive the vehicle with a leak. You can look at the picture for yourself and then look at your vehicle and see that it has been leaking for a while. i am sorry there was confusion as to what the inspection is for. We also showed you pictures of things that are good on your car too. We do not pressure sell to any customer. We have been in Spring Valley servicing vehicles for 49 years and will continue to treat all customers honestly. Thats why we do the digital inspection,

Decided to give this place a try because of good reviews. Was very disappointed to find rude and unprofessional service manager Ed. I came in to do the alignment because there was wear in one of the tires, give me a printout which showed alignment was pretty much good before I came in, they slightly adjusted steering wheel agle (which wasn't even noticeable before) And obviously charged me for the alignment. Ed tried to tell me that slight steering wheel off centered could off caused tire wearing out on one side 😆 when I tried to have a conversation with him about what could be the cause, it was going nowhere , Ed just give me rude deamining attitude back. Don't know why they keep him as a service manager there, I Will not be going back!

I apologize for you're bad experience with my service writer. It appears that he was not able to communicate with you . I did look at the alignment readings and you're right front tire was off by 9 degrees , it was aimed outward which would cause a wear on the inside of the tire. We adjusted it 9 degrees which then made your steer ahead reading zero. It may not seem like much but 9 degrees does make a difference. They also inflated your tires because all of them were low. They did recommend you replace the tires and there were some other items on your digital inspection that was performed for you too see about the condition of your vehicle. You purchased an alignment that has a warranty and if it needs to be rechecked we would be more than happy to do so at no charge for up to six months. Thank you again for coming in.
